Foster Homes Needed in the Oak Ridge area!!!!  We are always in need of foster homes for dogs and cats. All animals must live indoors; fenced yards are preferred for dogs, but not always required for the smaller dogs.   Please call (865)483-8146 if you live in or near Oak Ridge and would be willing to foster.

Oak Ridge Christmas Parade - Saturday, December 10th, 6 p.m. SARG will walk as usual in the Christmas parade this year. All rescue dogs, whether or not they came from SARG, and their human companions are invited to join us in the parade. We usually begin to line up 30 minutes to an hour before the beginning of the parade. Parade personnel will be present to direct participants to our location in the line. The parade will begin at Corporate Center, on the corner of Lafayette and Laboratory Road. From there, the parade will travel down Lafayette to the Oak Ridge Turnpike. It will continue west on the Turnpike to Oak Ridge High School. The judge's stand will be located in front of the Chamber of Commerce. Those participating in the parade will line up in the parking lot of Corporate Center, on the corner of Lafayette and Laboratory Road. The theme of this year's parade is "The Magic of Christmas."
